October 2011 I received yet another email from a person looking to sell a Jiger. There wasn’t alot of detail of how much or where it was located, so at first glance I was in no hurry to respond assuming the unit was once again too far away to be practically shipped home. Until I happened to notice the phone number prefix was the same as my own. Low and behold, a Jiger 197 no more than an hour from my house, and by far the best shape and the most complete of all the Jigers I had seen. Wow. I called right away and the owner was happy to give me a great deal given my plans to restore it and my family connection to it. I thank him again for that. This unit is in great shape.
