197 - Serial Number NA
October 2010 I received an email from Mark from northern Ontario and he informed me he had a Jiger that was a bit of a basket case but seems quite complete minus the engine. Someone had painted it blue, but from the photos it checked out and did seem to have alot of great parts and a body with no holes. So we agreed on a price and worked out a route home. Once it arrived it didn’t take long to realize the body was originally a Verstrek Jiger that someone was using as a donor to build a 197 Jiger. At first glance you wouldn’t know the difference but there are some large and fundamental differences in the two bodies that a purist as myself could not overlook. But the parts that came with it were in very good shape and will be invaluable when a 197 body is found.
